The Havildar and Constable Sangha, Bargarh on Wednesday alleged that the district Superintendent of Police has been harassing its members for long.
The Sangha has submitted a memorandum to DIG Pratik Mohanty, Sambalpur in support of their allegation against the SP. Sanga members alleged that the SP has harassed them in different ways using uncivilized words. Citing an example, they said the SP had banged a mobile phone of a Havildar and scolded him during the OISF recruitment held recently.
The Bargarh district police have also not adopted the transfer procedure for long.
The SP even uses Havildars and Constables for his personal work. He engages employees at the cricket field where he plays cricket, the Sangha alleged in the memorandum.
