The Sohela police in Bargarh district cracked the loot of gold ornaments of cash from a Raipur jeweller’s employees by arresting six persons in this connection on Thursday.
The cops also seized 460 gm gold jewellery, Rs 50,000 cash and a Commander jeep from the possession of the accused.
The six accused identified as Rabi Bariha, Banti Dash, Ramesh Gartia, Narayan Bag and Mohendra Sahu were forwarded to court. Further investigations are on said, Police IIC Sohela Nirmal Mohapatra.
The accused had on November 6 looted Rs 800 gram gold ornaments and Rs 1,57, 000 from jeweller Sagar Jain’s two employees.
