The Odisha State Bar Council has asked the advocates seeking financial assistance due to the Covid-19 situation to submit one declaration in a prescribed format. The application format would then be sent to the Chairmen/Secretaries of Interim Committee of the concerned bar associations.
In a letter, the Bar Council said the bar associations must forward the applications to it.
“However, it is found that many applications are submitted without the said verification.
The said applications are herewith sent to the concerned bar associations for necessary verification with a request to forward applications along with the declaration form of applicant advocates,” letter read.
