The Paradip police on Thursday night raided the office of local labour union and Congress leader Bapi Sarkhel at Tarinigada in connection with the murder of the Andhra Pradesh-based Seaways Shipping company’s general manager Mahendra Swain murder case.
Sources said the raid was carried out after police reportedly found Sarkhel’s links with prime accused in the murder case, Rakesh Chaube.
Police collected the hard disk of the CCTV, some alleged incriminating documents and other vital evidences from Sarkhel’s office, the sources added.
