Andhra Bank of Bhimpur got permission from the RBI to run a branch in rural area of Banpur block to provide service to the rural people. However, due to the rash attitude of the manager of the bank, many costumers are dissatisfied with its service.
Bank manager Bhimasen Behera often misbehaved with the rural costumers for which the costumers sifted their accounts to the other banks. Many fixed depositors and persons who have taken gold loans were harassed. More particularly, the Bank Manager flouted the statutory principle of the RBI and did not inform people facility available for grievance redressal, alleged sources.
