State Planning Board Deputy Chairman N Bhaskar Rao on Monday urged banks to provide credit facility to the interested youths who want to establish MSME units in the State. Rao said this while inaugurating a workshop on ‘Credit Facilitation Programme” at the MSME Trade Fair here. “The young entrepreneurs are very much enthusiastic to establish MSME units. Bank’s can help them to become self reliant by providing credit facility to them,” Rao said.
He, however, said that financing banks should regularly review their positions of growth. Among others, MSME Secretary Panchanan Dash, SIDBI CGM Ramesh Dharmaji, Director of Industries N Palai, OSIC MD BB Behera, SlBC Convenor AK Samantray and SIDBI GM SS Acharya were present. More than 200 participants attended the workshop.
