Banks and other financial institutions operating in Ganjam district will conduct a customer outreach programme at the Onslow High School playground at Chhatrapur on October 3 and 4, coinciding with such an initiative announced by the banks at national level.
The objective of this programme is to reach out to maximum number of people from a common platform to meet their various banking needs.
To chalk out the programme for the event, an all bankers’ meet was held at the Andhra Bank Zonal Office by convenor DCC Ganjam, Bhubaneswar Nayak in the presence of the bank’s Hyderabad head office General Manager Brahmananda Reddy and attended by controlling heads and district coordinators of all banks operating in the district.
The initiative has been mooted with the objective to increase lending for all economic productive sectors by all banks, NBFCs, MFIs and HFIs and to dispel the impression that there is liquidity problem in banks and merger of banks has hampered growth.
