Banki College alumni want fee cut for students

Published on:

Over 100 alumni and parents of Banki Autonomous College demand the Principal to free the tuition fees of the students for the last six months and cut the admission and readmission charges of all the Plus Two and Plus Three students by 50 per cent.

In this regard they have submitted a memorandum to the Principal requesting him to do the needful as the area recently was severely hit by the flood where the farmers of Banki have faced economic ruins besides suffering the Covid-19 pandemic.

Contacted, Principal Niranjan Sia said that Governing Body of the College has taken a decision to collect Rs 300 more  over  usual admission and readmission fees as college would celebrate Diomond Jubilee this year.
