The Town police on Monday retrieved a decomposed body of a Deputy Manager of Canara Bank from his rented house at Bhagabanpur here.
The deceased Akhanda Kumar Rana, a resident of Loisingha in Balangir district, had attended office on Friday and returned to his house in evening.
On Monday, bank Branh Manager Chandra Sekhar Pati several times telephoned Rana as he was absent and was not picking up phone. Being informed, police rushed to the spot and broke open the door.
The reason behind Rana’s death was yet to be ascertained, said police sources.
