To be held from Nov 22
The Jagatsinghpur district administration has made elaborate arrangements to make the Kalinga Baliyatra-2018, to be held from November 22, more attractive.
In this regard, the first preparatory meeting for the festival was held here on Friday under the chairmanship of district Collector and Kalinga Baliyatra Committee (KBC) chairman Yamini Sarangi.
Among others Paradip MLA Dr Damodar Rout, SP Prakash R, Sub-Collector Mahendra Kumar Mohanty, ADM Kanhu Charan Dheer, Paradip Municipality Chairman Basanta Biswal, and EO Dillip Kumar Mohanty were present and discussed about how to make the festival a grand success. Representatives from PPT, IFFCO, media and various companies and organisations participated in the meeting.
