Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday conducted simultaneous raids at five places, including the house of Balianata-Bainchua Cooperative Bank Secretary Debendra Prusty, on the charge of accumulation of properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to sources, the Vigilance officials carried out the raid at the house of Prusty located in the city.
During the raid, the investigating team found the papers of a three-storied building and 31 plots in the name of Prusty. The team also laid its hands on some incriminating documents and bank passbooks, Vigilance sources said. Besides, the probe agency also conducted raids at the house of the president of the bank for his connection with the secretary.
