After embarking on a cease-work agitation in support of its demand of establishment of a permanent Bench of the Odisha High Court at any suitable place in north Odisha since Thursday afternoon, the Baleswar Bar Association on Saturday decided to extend the stir till Tuesday next.
However, the association decided to participate in the State-level lok Adalat to be held on Sunday. From Thursday next, after the Janmastami, the lawyers would resume works, but they would be wearing black badges and case work every Saturday till fulfilment of the demand, said a bar association leader. mMeanwhile, the Balasore bar is in touch with its counterparts of other districts in the region.
