Veteran Communist leader Bishnu Mohan Dash passed away at the age of 65 at his residence in Soro on Wednesday morning. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter. Dash, who was suffering from cancer for a few years, felt uneasy during his morning walk and shortly later collapsed in his house. Dash was secretary of CPI Baleswar unit. As the news of his death spread, people from various walks of life visited his house and paid their last respects to him.
