The World No Tobacco Day was observed by the Balasore Alloys in association with the Balesere Rotary Club at district Headquarters on Saturday.
Besides highlighting the ill effects of tobacco consumption, the speakers also viewed that that it is high time for the consumers to quit tobacco intake.As many as nearly 200 students from different colleges and educational institutions attended the event. They also participated in a quiz programme on the occasion.
CDMO Dr Anup Ghosh, Additional SP Gyanedra Parija, Dr Bijay Panda and Dr Santanu Das, Balasore Alloys president Ansuman Bhanj and V Udaykumar, among others, were present on the occasion.
