Sociopolitical outfit Bajrang Sena on Wednesday staged a massive demonstration here demanding immediate refund of the investors’ money which they had deposited with the Baripada Urban Cooperative Bank and various chit fund companies.
Before holding the demonstration in front of the Urban Cooperative Bank, hundreds of Sena workers took out a procession in the town and raised slogans in support of their demands.
The agitators were led by Bajrang Sena chief Kumar Mangalam, president Kartik Mohanta, vice-president Nayan Das, Biswajit Chand, Manas Karmakar and Dinesh Behera, among others.
If the BJD Government does not take immediate appropriate measures for refund of the innocent depositors’ money, the Sena would intensify its stir in the days to come, the leaders warned.
