Rajya Sabha member Baishnab Parida has led a group of twelve MPs, who are now on their visit to China for a period of ten days. This group will visit Beijing, Sanghai, Ziang and many other important historical places of China.
Director of Indo-China Friendship Society Madam luan offered a warm ovation to the Indian Parliamentarians in Beijing on December 5. In reply to the reception, Parida said, “We want to closely watch the growth and development of Chinese industries, agriculture, education, language and culture, besides having dialogues with various Chinese Ministries on many related issues.”
Both Parida and luan wished the bond of the Indo-China Friendship Society to become stronger in days ahead.
Parida’s stewardship of the group is owing to his long Soviet stint and leftist activities in the past. The Indo-China Friendship Society, which works under the direct supervision of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, has made all-out efforts for a successful visit of the Indian delegation.
