Following the grant of bail to five chit fund scam accused by the Orissa High Court on Friday, the Arthika Sanstha Manka Duara Khetigrashtha Milita Manch (ASMDKMM) said this would badly affect the small investors.
ASMDKMM advisor Rabi Das said the small investors are yet to get their
money back which they had invested in the dubious chit fund companies. Though the State Government has set up a judicial commission to oversee the return of money of small investors, there has been little progress in the move.
In this scenario, the bail to the chit fund accused is likely to affect the chit fund probe.
