The District and Sessions Court, Khordha here on Wednesday deferred bail plea hearing of Artha Tatwa (AT) Group chief Pradeep Sethy and 15 other accused arrested for their alleged links with the company involved in mega chit fund scam in the State.
In the morning, Sethy along with other accused were produced before the court for bail hearing, but the court deferred hearing to December 9.Due to illness, Banki BJD MlA Pravat Tripathy could not be produced before the court.Similarly, the court postponed the hearing of bail pleas of former Keonjhar BJD MlA Subarna Nayak, former Khariar BJP MlA Hitesh Bagarti and Kartikeya Parida, who were arrested by the CBI in connection with the fraud of chit fund company Nava Diganta. The next hearing would be held on December 2, said sources.
