Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday appointed Baikuntha Naik as working president of the BJD.
As per a Press statement issued by party’s general secretary and MLA Pranab Kumar Balabantaray, the party president also appointed Elina Dash as party’s secretary general.
Besides, Patnaik appointed three senior vice-presidents and six zone presidents. The senior vice-presidents are Rana Pratap Patra, Dhruti Ranjan Martha and Jyotsnamayee Parida the zone presidents are Bijaya Ketan Sahoo (Bhubaneswar), Subhranshu Narayan Mishra (Cuttack), Nachiketa Swain (Ganjam), Manindra Mohanty (Balangir), Debasish Parida (Sambalpur) and Tapas Tripathy (Koraput).
