BJD MP Baijayant Panda again took on party supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik when he said on Tuesday that his earlier words of caution were not heeded for which there is now widespread resentment in the party after the reshuffle in the Ministry.
Reviving his Twitting game, Panda said he had suggested measures for a revamp of the party following its reverses in the panchayat elections. But he had been criticised instead of his advice being appreciated.
It may be noted that not only Panda but many other party leaders are defying Naveen Patnaik’s warning that they should talk to him about party affairs instead of going public. Even party spokespersons like Amar Prasad Satpathy and Debasis Nayak are vocal in the media disapproving of the manner in which he reshuffled his Ministry.
