Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday requested Union Health Minister JP Nadda to intervene in the matter of infant deaths at the Sishu Bhawan in Cuttack.
In a letter, Pradhan urged Nadda to inquire into the infant deaths by a Central team.
So far, 35 toddlers have died at the Sardar Vallabbhai Patel Post Graduate Institute of Paediatrics (Sishu Bhawan) in the past seven days.
