Baba scam: BJP demo before all PSs today

Protesting the brutal attack by police on public and BJP Kendrapada district president Duryodhan Sahu near the Sarathi Ashram in Kendrapada, BJP workers would stage demonstrations and symbolic dharnas in front of all police stations in the State on Monday.This was informed by BJP State president KV Singh Deo here on Sunday after having a meeting headed by political committee chief Bijay Mohapatra. He said the party would wholeheartedly support lawyers’ strike which would be held on the same day.

Singh Deo said his party workers would lodge FIRs against former Kendrapada SP Satish Gajbhiye at all the police stations in protest against his mindless attack on public. The party would also demand arrest of Gajbhiye and a CBI inquiry into the Sarathi Baba scandal.Mohapatra demanded to know why the State Government is not handing over the case to the CBI despite such explosive and startling revelations about the Baba. “We will expose the nexus between the Baba and the BJD Government,” said Mohapatra.
