Sends memo to CM for security
Members of the Brahmapur Press Club condemned the incidents of attack on working journalists across the State and demanded that the State Government provide security to all mediapersons.
The Press Club made this demand at a special meeting held under chairmanship of president Biswanath Patnaik here on Saturday. Among others, working president Chitaranjan Rajguru, treasurer Narayan Mahakuda, Jagan Mohan Mohapatro, Shaktidhar Rajguru, Manoj Dash, Rajendra Sahu, Pranaya Panda, Nagaraja Rao, Bishwanath Mohapatra, Gopal Reddy, Subramanyam Swami and Prasant Das attended the meeting discussed about security of mediapersons.
Later, they went to the Deputy Collector Office and submitted a memorandum, addressing Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Deputy Collector Binod Behera in favour of their demand.
