Local MLA Bikram Panda on Tuesday lodged a complainant with Brahmapur SP Pinak Mishra for action against the fraudsters who have created a fake Facebook account with his photo and are asking money from his friends.Though case has been referred to cybercrime police station for investigation and to nab culprits, initial inquiry revealed that an unidentified person based in New Delhi has impersonated as Panda using his profile picture to ask his Facebook friends and collected Rs 25,000 through PhonePay. Panda cautioned people not to believe in such fraudulent messages and not to pay anything to this unidentified person or anyone else.
