The Bargarh SP on Tuesday set an example by sending two accident victims to hospital in his office car.

On Tuesday afternoon, Hemant Bhue and Ganesh Bhati of Attabira area met an accident on NH 53 near Patharla. They were returning from Jaring market when the accident took place. There was a huge crowd surrounding them, but no one came to their rescue and sent them to hospital fearing unnecessary harassment by police.

Bargarh SP Mukesh Bhamoo was returning from Ainelapali firing range and saw the accident victims in pool of blood. Wasting no time, Bhamoo shifted them to the district headquarters hospital for treatment. Later, Bhamoo requested for a lift to a passerby and came to his office. At the same time, he also requested the persons gathered at the accident spot to come to the immediate rescue of any accident victim as there would be no police hurdles as per the direction of the SC.

The people of Bargarh and rest other places have highly lauded the humanitarian gesture of the SP.
