The Krushak Sangathan Samonyaya Samiti Bargarh organised its Mahasamabesh here on Tuesday led by its president Jayakrushna Sahu, secretary Kishor Debta and Rabindra Bishi.
The association in its a memorandum to the PM and the CM through the district Collector, Bargarh, demanded farm loan waiver, fair MSP for agricultural produce, bonus and pension, etc. The farmers also alleged to have been duped on payment of insurance compensation money during the year 2017 on Kharif season. Bargarh Collector Indramani Tripathy assured to take steps on release of insurance compensation within a week. More than 5,000 farmers gathered in the Mahasamabesh.
