lamenting over Health Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak’s statement in the Assembly over non-regularisation of Ayush doctors working under the National Health Mission (NHM), the All Odisha Ayush Doctors’ Association on Tuesday said the Government has pushed the future of all Ayush doctors into uncertainty.
The association questioned that while the Government recently took steps for regularisation of all clinical staffs, including nurses and ANMs working under the NHM; why such an apathetic attitude towards Ayush doctors has been taken. Association president Dr Jyoti Ranjan Gahan and secretary Dr Tapan Kumar Dash have demanded that the Government forthwith regularise the Ayush doctors working at PHCs and CHCs for the last seven years.
