To ensure maximum enrolment of lPG consumers under the modified Direct Benefit Transfer lPG (DBTl) scheme, the Sena Indane Distributor here organised an awareness campaign at Sundarpada Pala Mandap here recently.
The campaign witnessed participation of a large number of consumers. Siba Prasad Mohanty and Sebashree Mohanty of the Sena Indane highlighted the benefits of the scheme. The participants were made aware about the unified form which has replaced all the previous five forms, which were needed to be submitted at banks and lPG dealers for linking gas connection and account number.
The modified DBTl scheme is scheduled to be implemented in the State from January 1. Under the scheme, consumers will receive lPG cylinders at the market price and subsidy amount in their respective bank accounts.
