The Swami laxmanananda Saraswati Smruti Samiti on Friday demanded death sentence to Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda for allegedly killing VHP leader laxmananada Saraswati.
Welcoming the arrest of the top Maoist leader, Samiti President Golakh Chandra Das in a Press release stated, “Sabyasachi has admitted killing Swamiji by releasing audio-CD. He is also involved in various Maoist menaces, besides killing several security personnel and civilians. We urged the police to interrogate him properly to unearth the exact reason of Swamiji’s murder and about those involved in the murder. We also hope that police will conduct proper investigation, besides ensuring trial in the court thereby facilitating death sentence to Sabyasashi,” Das further stated.
