The Association of Voluntary Blood Donors (AVBD), Odisha’s new office-bearers were administered oath by senior member Basant Kumar Sahu here on Sunday. They will be in office for two years from 2018 to 20.
While Ramakanta Rath took oath as president, Pursotam Subudhi and Prakash Chandra Panigrahi were sworn in as vice-presidents, Susanta Kumar Ghose as secretary, Manoj Kumar Padhy as treasurer, Raja Suresh and Chandra Siva Prasad as joint secretaries. Former president B laxmi Narayan Patro read out the annual report for 2016-18 and felicitated the blood donors. Among others, AVBD members VV Raju, ET Rao, EP Rao, J Suresh and members of Rotary Club, Walkers’ Club, Blood Bank, Vyasa Bank and Karnataka Bank were present.
