Hundreds of youths belonging to OBC and general castes protested against the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Ordinance of the Union Government here on Sunday.
Taking part in the protest, Rudra Narayan Sena convener Sitaran Satpathy alleged that the Narendra Modi Government has caused damages to the country in the name of development.
He said the law is meant to divide the country and threatened that the Sena would take steps at ground level against the leaders who promote casteism.
Among others, India Against Reservation secretary general Dinabandhu Sarangi, Rajesh Prusty, Dipak Jena, Ashish Kumar Lenka, Swagat Das, Dr Jayprakash Das, Sukant Mohanty, Banajabasini Tripathi, Swagatika Pati, Subhransu Das and Nabakishore Samal were present.
