To celebrate platinum jubilee of the Biswanath Bidyapith here this year, several committees to accelerate various activities were formed. Adwaitananda Ratha was nominated as the president of the celebration committee, while Sunil Mohanty and Pramatha Chandra Mishra were nominated vice presidents. Ramnarayan Mohanty was nominated as general secretary, while Somanath Bhakta was made organizing secretary. Dinesh Das, Mihir Tripathy, Sanjay Ratha, lalatendu Senapati and Sudhiranjan Dash became the chief of the souvenir committee, finance committee, cultural committee, advertisingcommittee and reception committee, respectively.
This apart, an advisory committee was also formed taking senior members.
