The Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (ATE) on Monday reserved its judgment in the case relating to revocation of licences of the Anil Ambani-led Reliance Infra (R-Infra)-controlled three power distribution companies (Discoms) by the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC).
The ATE heard the arguments and counters of the Discoms, the OERC and the Grid Corporation of Odisha (Gridco) and asked them to file written replies and rejoinders, if any, within two days. The three Discoms, Nesco, Southco and Wesco, on had Thursday challenged the OERC’s order revoking their licences for power distribution business before the ATE saying the order “is illegal”.
