Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday ousted former Health Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak from the District Planning Committee (DPC) posts of Baleswar and Jharsuguda.
Even after he had resigned from the Ministry after the SUM Hospital fire tragedy in which about 30 persons were killed, Nayak was still holding the DPC posts, sources said.
Patnaik appointed Woman and Child Development, Social Security and Planning and Coordination Minister Usha Devi and Steel, Mines, labour and ESI Minister Prafulla Mallick as DPC Members of Baleswar and Jharsuguda, respectively.
