An Atal Tinkering laboratory (ATl) was inaugurated at the DAV Public School, Pokhariput here on Saturday.
As part of the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) under the aegis of the NITI Aayog, the lab aims at enkindling creativity among the students to give shape to their innovative ideas.
Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar Director Sudhakar Panda was the chief guest on the occasion. Bhubaneswar IIT Prof Dr Akhilesh Barve, DAV management committee chairman Madan Mohan Panda, DAV Zone-18 regional director Dr Keshab Chandra Satapathy and school principal Dr Sujata also spoke.
An Atal rally and an Atal mini fair exhibiting models and a painting competition for different schools on the theme ‘Innovative India’ was also organised on the occasion.
