The CBI on Monday interrogated Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) secretary Asirbad Behera’s son and Football Association of Odisha (FAO) secretary Sanjay Behera in connection with the chit fund scam.
Sources in the CBI said Sanjay was interrogated on possible fund diversion from the chit fund company Artha Tatwa (AT) Group to the FAO through the OCA route.
The Central investigating agency has already quizzed Sanjay twice in this regard.
On Sunday, the CBI had grilled the OCA secretary for around 11 hours in two phases for his link with the AT Group, which had sponsored the first edition of the Odisha Premier league (OPl) organised by the OCA in 2011.
