On the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets by Pravat Kumar Mahali, Assistant Executive Engineer in the office of EIC, Civil, Nirmana Soudha, Bhubaneswar, his residential-cum-parental house at Ashok Nagar, Bhubaneswar, three-storied building at Sailashree Vihar, Bhubaneswar, and office room were simultaneously searched by Vigilance police on Wednesday.
The total value of the movable and immovable assets in the names of Mahali and his family members detected during the house search was calculated at Rs29.68 lakh.
Mahali had joined Government service as an Assistant Engineer in the Works Department in the year 2004. Thereafter his post was upgraded to Assistant Executive Engineer in March 2014.
