The Winter Session of the Odisha legislative Assembly (OlA) would begin on December 1 and continue till December 31, according to a notification issued by the Assembly Secretariat on Thursday.
While the session would have a total 24 working days, the Appropriation Bill for the Supplementary Budget would be placed by Finance Minister Pradeep Amat on the very first day. Besides, some important Bills are likely to be presented and passed during the session.
The notification was issued after Governor Dr SC Jamir gave his assent to the proposal in this regard, sources said.
