The Winter Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly would begin from November 20 and continue till December 31. The session would have 40 working days.
As per the schedule released by the Assembly Secretariat on Wednesday, the Supplementary Statement of Expenditure for year 2020-2021 would be presented in House on November 20.It may be noted that Assembly sits for 60 days in a calendar year. But this year, it has so far sat for 20 days only. It needs to meet for 40 more days before December 31. Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro had stated this recently.
