The State Assembly condoled the deaths of three former members of the House and three jawans who sacrificed their lives for the country.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik brought obituary references on the passing away of former Minister Maheswar Baug and former members Gurubari Majhi and Nalla Kumar Naikulu and three Jawans, former BSF Deputy Commandant Sunil Kumar Behera and former BSF Constables Sibasis Panda and Kishore Ranjan Rawat and expressed his deep grief over their demises.

Speaker Niranjan Pujari too paid his tributes to the departed souls and said the sympathy of the House would be conveyed to the concerned families soon. later, a two minute silence was observed in respect of the souls.
