The second phase of the State Assembly’s Monsoon Session devoted to the State Budget discussions would begin on Wednesday and run up to August 4. On the first day, reports of Standing Committees related to various Government departments would be presented.
Speaker Bikram Keshari Arukhs on Tuesday said the demand discussions relating to various departments would continue from July 14 to 29 and the demand for grants of departments which have not been discussed would be passed through guillotine.
The Assembly would pass the Appropriation Bill for 2022-23 on the State Budget on July 30.
Arukha hoped that the question hour would pass smoothly and in a disciplined manner during the session.
Government Chief Whip Prasant Muduli said he expects that the Opposition would participate in discussions constructively.
