Under the leadership of Under Secretary, Home, Debendra Kumar Dash and chief trainer of Odisha Secretariat Training Institute Prabir Pradhan, a team of 46 newly appointed ASOs visited the Dhamra Port.
Bhadrak Collector Jyana Ranjan Das greeted them with a warm welcome after arrival of the team and the team discussed about various developmental works carried out in the district.
Special land acquisition officer of the district administration Suryakant Padhi took the charges of visiting the team to the port. After arrival of the team at Dhamra, Deputy Manager corporate communication Subhasis Mishra welcomed them.
Port Harbor Master Captain Mirja Baig spoke about the details about the geographical situation of the port, cargo handling inside the port and a brief about operational technique of the port and port extension work. Commando Saroj Sahu and lalit Kumar Rath thanked the team on behalf of the port. Dhamra port will be a new junction of export and import and it will help in the economic development of Odisha, said the newly appointed ASOs during their visit to the port.
