Asks Naveen whom he'll support at Centre in 2014

BJP State president KV Singh Deo said his party was wrong to stay on with the Naveen Patnaik-led Government after the murder of VHP leader Swami laxmanananda Saraswati in Kandhamal district in 2008.

Now, the BJP wants to rectify the mistake it committed earlier, he said, adding, "Our main issues now are development of Odisha and the murder of Swamiji."

While addressing the media here on his maiden visit to Kandhamal district after assuming office as the State president, the leader said he had requested the BJP high command not to have any alliance with the BJD.

Singh Deo said the State Government had not done anything in five years to arrest the killers of laxmanananda Saraswati. The Chief Minister is responsible for Swamiji's murder, he alleged. "I can give the account number and the identity of those who sent money for the murder of Swamiji," he asserted.

Singh Deo also claimed that the BJP would form the Government at the Centre after the 2014 general elections. Naveen Patnaik should now make it clear as to which alliance he would support at the Centre, he said.

On Thursday, Singh Deo visited the Jaleshpata Ashram of Swami laxmanananda at Chakapada, where he concluded his two-day visit to the district. Singh Deo was accompanied by leader of BJP legislature Party Jayanarayan Mishra, former Ministers Surama Padhi, Manmohan Samal and Samir Dey and Karendra Majhi.
