The dead body of an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police of Sundargarh was found in a half-charred condition near railway track on Sunday.
Dushmant Bag (37) was working at the Dharuadih police station. On Sunday morning, the Dharuadih police received information from GRP that Bag’s body was lying near the railway track. Police seized the body and sent it for postmortem.
Police suspected that Bag might have come in contact with the high- voltage electric pole near the railway track. Investigating was continuing.
According to sources, Baga is survived by his wife and two daughters.
