Suspended BJP leader Ashok Sahu on Sunday told the party’s State leadership that he doesn’t deserve dismissal and urged for withdrawal of the suspension order slapped on him on October 23.
Sahu said this in his reply he submitted in the party office on Sunday in response to the show-cause notice as to why he should not be expelled from the party for his anti-party remarks on twitter and other social media.
“I was suspended within three hours of twit. It is undemocratic. They should have talked to me over phone before the step,” Sahu told mediapersons after submitting the reply.
Sahu said he made no mistake when he said the party should introspect why the Modi wave is not working in the State.
He said he has requested the party leadership to withdraw the suspension order soon.
It may be noted that Sahu, who was vice-president of the party, was suspended after he twitted some negative remarks on the selection of BJD-ousted Rudra Madhab Ray for the Kandhamal lok Sabha bypoll which held recently. Former BJP State president Jual Oram had also reacted to Sahu’s suspension, saying Sahu should have been given a chance to clarity and the matter should have been discussed among senior party leaders.
