Members of the Antaranga Kalakar Paribar, Kendrapada led by president Ananata Ojha submitted a memorandum, addressed to the DGP, at the SP office here urging strong action against the female actor, who, according to them, has brought baseless charge against Indra Bhuban Jatra Party manager Manoj Nayak. The team handed over the memorandum to Additional SP Ramesh Chandra Mohanty in absence of SP Nitinjit Singh.
The team demanded a proper probe into the allegation so that truth would come to the fore.
“The female actor’s allegation of sexual harassment is purely baseless. Manoj Nayak is a sober person. He is attached with the Jatra for so many years. She has lodged the complaint to defame him. A proper probe will reveal the truth,” said Ojha.
