The All India Mahila Sanskrutik Sangathan (AIMSS) staged a demonstration in front of the office of the Director General of Police (DGP) here on Thursday demanding immediate arrest of the accused in the Bishnupriya Samal murder case.
Notably, Samal was murdered by her own husband and a few of his aides on May 26 for dowry. However, the assailants have not yet been arrested as yet. TheAll India Mahila Sanskrutik Sangathan (AIMSS) members demanded quick arrest of all culprits and raised voice against growing atrocities on women. The demonstration was led by AIMSS president Binapani Das. Secretary Sasmita Sahoo presided. Among others, Tika Samal, Sipra Mohanty, Champa Samal and lata Samal, among others, spoke. A five-member delegation submitted a memorandum to the DGP.
