Amid the State Government making a bid to open its office in Silicon Valley in the USA to attract investment for Odisha, about half a dozen US companies have shown interest to pump in their funds in various sectors in the State, sources in the Department of IT(DoIT) said.
When the Odisha Team, led by Chief Secretary BK Patnaik met the investors in TiEcon-2013, some of the leading investors in IT/ITES sector had approached them. However, the companies have not stated it in any written format, sources added.
The companies which are keen to invest in the State are KeyTone Technologies, IC Bridge Corporation, Accion lab, Azilon Corporation, Orion Technology and Endeavour.
