The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has thrown open four of its Kalyan Mandaps and Community Centres and the Jatri Niwas to accommodate 600 participants in the recruitment rally of Territorial Army (120 Battalion) being held here from December 20 to 23.
While 150 participants are accommodated at the Unit-VI Kalyan Mandap near the Bhubaneswar Club, 50 are provided accommodation at the Sastri Nagar Community Centre near 120 Battalion.
Similarly, 200 candidates are accommodated at the Unit-VIII Community Centre and 200 more at the Jatri Niwas with a dormitory facility near Cuttack Road. A senior BMC official said, “We have requested the authorities of 120 Battalion to inform the candidates coming from various parts of the country’s eastern region regarding the accommodation facilitated by the civic body.
