Argentinean enters Shreemandir

While Pradeep Kumar Jena took over as the new Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) on Monday, entry of an Argentinean national into the shrine on the day has raised many eyebrows over the attitude of a section of the temple servitors.

According to information, a 28-year-old man wearing dhoti and punjabi and having black hair managed to enter the temple premises with alleged support of a Dhulia Panda (a priest). He was caught when he was purchasing Mahaprasad at the Ananda Bazaar in the temple precincts.

“The youth looked like an Indian. Investigations are on as to how he entered the temple and was not caught by police,” said senior police officer Ban Bihari Sahoo.
